Harmar Stairlifts

Harmar Stairlifts are a made in the USA brand dedicated to improving quality of life with every product. With solutions to improve mobility and accessibility to vehicles and homes, Harmar strives to maintain an innovative and reliable line.
Increased accessibility inside multiple story homes creates independence for the homeowner. Harmar specializes in quiet, functional lifts for every situation and location. Indoor stair lifts are designed to match the interiors of today's homes, as well.

The interior stairlifts are actually a new addition to the Harmar catalog, and there are four different systems to choose from. The line includes the Summit straight stairlift, the inventive Pinnacle Indoor Premium, the Summit Max and the Summit Outdoors.

Harmar Summit

The Summit series carries riders with a maximum weight of between 350 to 500 pounds, and each model uses a cable drive. The SL350 carries up to 350 pounds and runs on AC or DC power, as does the SL350 OD (for outdoors.) On the outdoor version, all the exposed parts are waterproof and it is available with additional protective covers.

The Summit SL500HD AC can carry riders weighing up to 500 pounds. The rider faces down the stairs on the way up, and an automatic swivel chair action allows them to exit at the top or bottom. This chair has a comfortable contoured seat with arm and footrests as well.

Harmar Pinnacle

The Pinnacle Premium is the top of the Harmar offerings. It has an extended track (up to 75 feet long,) and has a smooth 'worm drive' system that increases energy efficiency and cost. The Pinnacle runs on a 24V DC battery that comes with a one-year warranty. It can carry up to 350 pounds.

Harmar Stairlifts are warranted differently for each model. The Pinnacle has a lifetime warranty on the rack, but three years on moving components and the drive train. The Summit SL500HD offers flat two-year coverage on everything. The SL350 OD is covered for five years for components and three years on the drive train, as is the standard SL350.

All Harmar chair lifts are compact when folded, and have convenient options such as wireless remotes and controls with indicator lights. Safety sensors will halt the carriage if there are obstacles on the track. In addition, operational sensors will prevent the lift from moving until the chair is in the proper position.

Stairlifts are shipped ready for installation according to customer specifications. Although they can be self-installed, some states require a permit to install a chairlift, and experienced installers are available from Harmar dealers.

Harmar units like the SL350AC mount to the stairs, as opposed to the wall; have 90 degree seat swivels and can be folded up for a minimal profile. Track width is kept to a minimum (only 6 inches wide on some models.)

While Harmar's lifts are their newest product line, they have designed and manufactured them with the customer's best interests in mind. With aesthetically pleasing colors, attention to comfort and convenient safety features, they are sure to become a consumer favorite.
